On the occasion of the International Youth Day, Filter organized a three-day intensive online course on critical thinking, called “Filter and change”.
This year, for the first time, Ukraine celebrates Youth Day on August 12. Due to the full-scale unprovoked and unjustified invasion of the Russian Federation, the youth of Ukraine had to transition into adulthood earlier. Young people had to deal with an unprecedented level of responsibility. Today, young Ukrainians are fighting on various fronts: some have joined the Armed Forces or Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine, some are fighting on the information field, some are tirelessly volunteering, working in the war conditions, and winning victories in sports, education, or other fields abroad.
Ukrainian youth is worth being proud of. We are convinced that with such a young generation, Ukraine has a wonderful future.
That is why, on the occasion of the Youth Day, Filter prepared a free three-day intensive course for young Ukrainians. More than 600 young Ukrainians registered for it!
We thank all our speakers who shared their experiences with the participants of the course, among them Taras Shevchenko, Valeria Kovtun, Oleksandr Pyrozhkov, Anastasia Lopina, Olha Kravchenko, Kateryna Mykhalko, Mykola Davydiuk, Viktor Pichugin, Oleksandra Rozumienko and Ivan Prymachenko.
We also express our gratitude to our partners and friends who supported us: Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, IREX in Ukraine, Institute of Mass Information (IMI), On the Other Side of News, StopFake, Nakypilo.osvita, Embassy of Sweden in Kyiv, UNICEF Ukraine, Your Cosmos of Possibilities, Youth of Lviv Region, Dream and Act, Hurtom, Kyiv Youth Center, Obiznani, Souspilnist Foundation, Media Platform, Upshift Ukraine, Science Teens Platform, Youth Lviv, Building Ukraine Together – BUR, Go Working, Prosvita Ukraine.
